Vortex Dryer

Vortex Dryer

Vortex Dryer.Provides running cost advantages due to efficient agitation and low exhaust volume.

The drying chamber consists of an exterior enclosed by a jacket for the heat transfer medium (steam, heat medium), and a drying tub that is conical at the bottom and cylindrical at the top. The inside of the chamber consists of scooping blades that agitate and crush the processed materials, and agitation and blowing vanes that promote evaporation.
Agitation is efficient, the exhaust volume is low and a compact deodorizing device can be used. This provides advantages such as a smaller installation area and lower running costs.A wide range of materials can be effectively processed, from liquids to slurry and solid materials.

Vortex Dryer Types

Vacuum Dryer (YVD-V)

The vacuum dryer applies the principle of lowering the pressure of the container to lower the boiling point and evaporate the moisture at a low temperature. The reduced pressure lowers the evaporation temperature to generate a large temperature difference with the processed materials, which enables efficient drying. The processed materials are loaded with a pump from the top of the dryer, then they are agitated and dried inside the dryer before being discharged from the center of the body. The exhaust gas is sucked up by the vacuum pump (or water ejector) via the duster and condenser, and maintained at the specified pressure. The steam is supplied from the top of the dryer and discharged from the bottom.

Atmospheric Pressure Dryer (YVD-A)

The atmospheric pressure dryer can process a wide range of materials regardless of their shape, from slurry type waste liquids to sludge. This dryer is a conduction type with low exhaust volume that enables a smaller deodorizing device to be used, providing major advantages such as a smaller installation area and lower running costs. The processed materials are transported from the raw material reception hopper and loaded by the loading conveyor installed onto the dryer body. After agitation and drying, the materials are discharged by the discharge conveyor installed at the center of the body. The steam is supplied from the top of the dryer and discharged from the bottom.
